We're a family of four from Ottawa, Canada living in Beijing for the fall 2009. Shawn is a social policy researcher who is on parental leave while Alison is a writer, creativity coach, and freelance technical editor. Our children, Lia (3.5) and Nico (2), keep us hopping as we explore their birth country and discover what China has to offer during the three short months we are here.
